Extremism

I wonder how common instances of communal violence have become and how ignorant our government is becoming in countering such acts. I just want to ask one thing: what is religion? To me, religion is a set of beliefs and moral values that are needed for a society to flourish. These beliefs and morals promote mental, physical, and social health for individuals. They promote love and fraternity in society, encouraging every individual to follow a path that would lead to betterment, making them humble, tolerant and kind, not only to other humans but to all organisms residing on planet Earth. This is also called humanity, teaching people to respect one’s choices and beliefs. All religions are based on this principle of humanity, and any belief system that doesn’t follow these basic principles can’t be considered a true religion.

Aren’t you shocked to see people fighting over something that was meant for love and humbleness? Aren’t you shocked to see people dividing over something that was meant to unite them? It boils my blood when I see people using God for their very own hatred. These people are only disrespecting our culture and beliefs.

By screaming “Har Har Mahadev,” they are only playing with the sentiments of those following their true religion. These people are constantly defending their heinous actions by linking them to the emotions of the masses — God, religion. What a shame!

Hindutva Mob Assaults Principal Over Reciting ‘Christian Prayer’ in School

now look at this recent happening in pune . They are doing this to their teachers, whom we consider the highest in our culture. ‘Guru’ is being compared to God! How disheartening it is to see people mocking this divine relationship, not only students but many teachers. Wearing western clothes and partying isn’t Kalyug; this is what is called Kalyug.

Politicians are purging eternal nonsense and provoking people for their vote bank. My eyes hurt when I see people getting injured or dying in these riots. How are people brainwashed to this level that they don’t understand the insane difference between crime and worship? I can’t see societies being shattered for someone’s vote bank. Please tell me, what effect did it have on those politicians who ignited such riots? Nothing! It’s only people who suffer. And now those hypocrites are ready to make it worse as the next election season comes.

Due to these fringe elements, Hindu dharma is now being called intolerant internationally. And how utterly amazed I am to see these people call themselves representatives of our religion. How dare they become ‘Thekkedars of any dharma?’ They are spreading hatred, promoting communal riots, and increasing tension among society. In my eyes, they are not even humans! What the hell is happening to society? How are people even allowing these hypocrites to take charge? How long will the divide and rule policy be followed by these politicians? How long? Democracy is becoming a joke to them!

Strict actions should be taken to handle these communal clashes.

India was a secular country, India is a secular country, and India will always be a secular country.

This hate might confuse people for a bit, but it will never be able to break the spirit of fraternity and love that has been installed since ages. Secularism resides in each fragment of our constitution, and our nation is designed to work that way. Only when all sections of society work in unity, we will become a developed nation. Otherwise, the idea of a developed India and trillion-dollar economy will only limit to politicians’ speeches. Extremism surely won’t help anywhere .
